I feel very privileged to function as a head of the school. Let me thank to the DAV CMC, New Delhi, for giving me the opportunity to serve the community at DAV Pilkhuwa. I am also thankful to Dr. Alpna Sharma (RO, UP ZONE-A) for her kind and able guidance. Galaxy of thanks and regards to SHRI. A beautiful saying in Sanskrit which acknowledges that knowledge can neither be plundered by a thief, nor can be taken by the king, cannot be divided by brothers, it does not have weight. The more education is spent, the more it grows. Hence, the wealth of knowledge is the most superior asset among all.
Knowledge in its very essence is ever evolving to decrypt the current requirements of the post-modernist society. The need to stay ahead of the curve and create something remarkable with everlasting impact has led to fast-paced living. As a 21st century organization, the school envisions to set an approach of learning that incorporates inquiry, research, analytical thinking, and an ethical approach that becomes a lifetime habit which is sustainable and adapts to the current scenario.Our philosophy of education has always been meeting the needs of the individual child and we believe the whole purpose of education is to teach the child “how to think and not what to think”.
Children acquire skills and knowledge easily if we make the surroundings stimulating and purposeful. In the 21st century, the digital revolution has affected us all. Quite simply, it is changing everything: a brilliant barrage of information, entertainment, companionship, and education is speedily available. In this era of cutthroat competition, it is of paramount importance to impart an integrated education to the future citizens of the nation for successfully facing challenges. DAV Pilkhuwa, therefore, lays special emphasis on life skill activities, providing students an edge over others to be leaders in their respective field of activity. Through life skills programme, the school aims to develop a cadre of empowered, educated, and healthy adolescents, capable of making decisions in life.
The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate that we need to pause and reflect on the system of education in schools. At DAV Pilkhuwa, we impart education to match the advancement in technology and globalization. As we march our children ahead with the ethos of moral values and principles which are based on Vedic system of education, we endeavor constantly to instill these qualities in our children. We take pride in helping them grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the next generation.
Our commitment is to provide a safe, positive, intellectual learning environment that will empower students to become creative problem solvers, thinkers and inspired learners prepared for life in the twenty-first century. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to achieve excellence for the ignited DAVians in all the domains of education combining with academics and extra-curricular activities. The school provides an amalgamation of scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Success for all students is safeguarded at our school by the delivery of an enriching, child centered, balanced and structured curriculum of DAV CMC / CBSE through Experiential Learning and Competency Based Education as per the recommendation of NEP-2020.
Along with the experienced cohort of educators, I will continue my work to maintain the legacy of success established by the school by building strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible.
